Accessible Hotel Rooms

Through our continuous communication with hotels about usability and accessibility, increasingly we are seeing more hotel chains are loading rates against accessible room types, so they can be booked without having to step outside the generic booking process via Lightning. Therefore, we recommend the following approach to booking accessible hotel rooms, considering user preference and confidence.

We would however recommend that if the booker is in any doubt regarding whether the room will be suitable for their needs, they should make contact with the relevant team at CTM who will be able to check this.

CTM work closely with our partnered suppliers to ensure that product labels are clear and easy for our customers to use. The easiest way to identify an accessibility friendly hotel on Lightning is to look at the product tags, you can see these on the hotel results page, when the ‘More’ option is selected you will then see if the property is accessibility friendly.

No compatible room types showing on Lightning.

If you cannot find any accessible rooms or rates for your desired room type, please send an email to the relevant team at CTM, we will then be able to check with the hotel directly, as there may be accessible rates available.

So that we can identify your email request quickly, please ensure the subject of your email contains ‘Accessible room required’. Please also provide us with as much information for your request as possible, i.e. your room requirements, your booking details and/or your preference of hotel and area (including a postcode if possible). We will then be in contact with availability that suits your requirements, to allow you to decide on the most suitable option
